Objectives:
1. Introduce high school students to foundational speed reading techniques tailored specifically for their age and reading level.
2. Increase reading speed by at least 3-5 times while maintaining or improving comprehension and engagement with high school-level reading materials.
3. Teach time-saving strategies such as skimming, scanning, and summarizing to help students process information quickly and efficiently.
4. Enhance vocabulary acquisition and reading fluency through exposure to a variety of engaging and challenging texts relevant to high school curriculum.
5. Foster critical thinking skills by guiding students to analyze and evaluate information from different sources with speed and accuracy.
6. Provide personalized feedback and guidance to address individual reading challenges and improve speed reading skills.
